A beautiful, candy pink Catholic Church amidst the concrete jungle of downtown Miami, the Gesu Catholic Church is Miami’s oldest Catholic parish, and has served the religious and humanitarian needs of the local community for over a century. Its detailed, exquisite craftsmanship and design has earned it a spot on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, marking the church as a religious site of great historical significance in the hearts of many devotees.

Originally a small wooden church built by William J. Wagner in 1875, the Gesu Catholic Church has expanded and flourished exponentially over the years, and today, continues to serve as one of the three remaining Catholic churches in downtown Miami. Stunning stained-glass windows adorn the airy interior of the church, and a gorgeous, grandiose altar featuring several beautiful statues and sculptures lies at the heart of this serene, tranquil house of sanctity and purity.
