Gaudi House Museum

Witness first-hand Antoni Gaudí’s architectural genius and intellect in his former residence-turned-museum.

Formerly a house for architect Antoni Gaudí (1852 - 1926), this building was converted into a museum in 1963 to showcase the works of Gaudí. This four-story museum houses furniture that Gaudí himself had designed throughout his life.

The exhibits introduce us to his private life and religious devotions, recreating some of his rooms and personal items. Check out the video, which showcases the perspectives of nuns who had greatly helped Gaudi through his life. An interesting piece, it provides an even deeper look into Gaudi’s fascinating life. Also, the house is located atop a hill within Park Güell in Barcelona; thus, nature lovers would find themselves at ease in this museum. Who knows? Perhaps visiting this museum would give rise to inspiration on how to design your own home!
