Gardaland is a theme park situated in Castelnuovo del Garda, Italy. It was officially opened in 19 July 1975, and it currently comprises of Gardaland Park, Gardaland Sealife and the Gardaland Hotel. The entire compound spans over 445,000 square metres, while the theme park itself covers over 200,000 square metres. The theme park attracts over 3 million visitors annually and was ranked fifth in the top ten amusement parks worldwide with the best turnover rates by Forbes Magazine. Several of its attractions include Mammut, Suga Da Atlantide, Jungle Rapids, Blue Tornado, Shaman, Ramses: II Risveglio, Raptor and Oblivion: The Black Hole. The park is divided into several themed sectors including Piazza, Aladino, Fantasy Kingdom, Kids Country and more. Tips Before You Go
If you plan on coming here during the weekends, then it is recommended that you purchase the priority pass. This allows you to skip the queues, which can get extremely long on weekends. Come on a weekday however, and the crowds become much more manageable. Do take note that certain rides are closed during the winter. It might be better to come in the summer instead as all the rides would be open then.
