Located in Uppsala, Sweden, the Gamla Uppsala Museum takes you back in time to a magnificent past that has spanned centuries. Functioning since 2000, the museum, which is also in fact one of Sweden’s most renowned cultural environments, tells you tales with regards to the area of Gamla Uppsala - spanning from the Yngling dynasty, to the Viking era and even to the Iron Age. This area was especially important during medieval times, and was even home to a Pagan Temple and even an old church that functioned as a cathedral.
