At Oslo’s Frogner Park, the largest park in Central Oslo, stopping to smell the roses is something of a must. Known as the park with Norway’s largest collection of roses, you will find around 14000 plants here from 150 different species. Whether you want to go for a jog, gorge yourself on picnic food, or simply bask in the sun, this park is the perfect place for your recreational needs. Of course there is something for everyone here as well. Families with children need not worry. The needs of your energetic young ones are not ignored, as Norway’s largest playground is located here too, right near the main entrance of the park. If art placed in nature is something that excites you, then enter the Vigeland Sculpture Park, nestled within the Frogner Park.

Tips Before You Go
The park itself is rather huge, and you could easily spend a few hours walking through it. There are more than 200 sculptures located all over the park, so make sure to bring a portable charger with you if you plan on snapping photos of all of them. Bring a picnic mat with you too. Even if you aren’t having a picnic, you could just spend your day lying on it and enjoying the sights and sounds over here.
