Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio

This is everyone’s dream home.

Ever watched an episode of Cribs and longed to visit the beautiful homes of the rich and famous? The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio takes every lay person’s dream one step further. Designed and lived in by the world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, this lavish brick building blends easily with its serene natural surroundings. Wright was famous for the iconic building ‘Fallingwater,’ an iconic demonstration of his belief in structures that existed in tandem with nature and humanity. These principles were very much present in his own home, whose lines are pleasing to the eye. Although originally encompassing a small plot of land, the house has been extensively remodeled to incorporate the studio and various other structures that can be viewed today. Yet from the outside, it still presents a harmonious picture to even the most critical eye. As you step into the house, you feel welcomed into a warm, intimate space where the Wrights used to entertain family and friends; a space characterized by warm colours and wood paneling. Even its status as a National Historic building cannot quite diminish the atmosphere of a family home. It’s a warmth that will always be at the back of your mind as you tour this lovely house.
