Feigumfossen Waterfall

This massive 720-feet waterfall will have your eyes popping out of their sockets.

Approximately 16 kilometres from the village of Skjolden in Lustrafjord is the Feigumfossen Waterfall, known for its jaw-dropping height and crystal-clear water. The journey towards Feigumfossen itself is a walk full of anticipation as it takes around 25 minutes along the trail, also called the “romantic road”, from the parking lot to the bottom of the waterfall. Every now and then, you will get glimpses of it, building up the anticipation as you edge closer to the waterfall.

The path will take you over a hilltop and once you climb all the way to the top, your eyes will be gazing at this mighty waterfall. You will definitely be overwhelmed by its sheer size and unsurprisingly so. Rushing from the Hurrungane range, the fresh glacial water finally dives about 720 feet down (approximately 218 metres) in a single drop, sending insane amount of spray into the air. Marvel at this beautiful natural wonder as it splashes down with such strength and ferocity. Indeed, what’s a trip to Luster without a stop at Feigumfossen?
