The Exotic Animal Experience promises just that. Founded by horse trainer Leslie Rush, the animals found here were all raised on-site, from infancy to adulthood. Coming in to contact with animals they normally have no exposure to in the wild, these lovely animals are good friends and welcome human interaction. They’re not put behind bars, and are free to roam as they please, providing for a delightful day out with them.

You can cuddle up with kangaroos, watch lemurs lazing about, or pet the adventurous zebra. Get up close with the fainting goats, whose muscles freeze when they feel startled, almost like they have fainted! If your kids have fallen in love with Bambi, then they’re definitely going to adore the Muntjac deer here, with his gentle and sweet nature. You will definitely come across a creature that just might remind you of the unforgettable King Julian of Madagascar: the black and white ruffed lemurs!
