South Korea’s largest amusement park!

Everland is South Korea’s largest amusement park and is situated at Everland Resort in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. It was listed sixteenth in the world based on visitor attendance in 2014, and on average sees about 7.3 million visitors each year. It was formerly known as ‘Jayeon Nongwon’ which translates to “Natural Farm”. The theme park can be divided into five main sectors: Global Fair, ZooTopia, European Adventure, Magic Land and American Adventure. Global Fair is largely for food and souvenir-shopping, while ZooTopia features animals as its main attraction with a zoo and safari. European Adventure comprises of many European-centric restaurants and rides, with Magic Land featuring a wide array of fairy tale-like buildings and rides, and finally, American Adventure features themes from American history. For thrill-seekers, try out the T-Express, which debuted in 2006, and remains the largest wooden roller coaster in South Korea with the steepest incline of 77 degrees. Tips Before You Go
Be prepared to come here as early as possible to avoid the long queues at the various rides. This is especially necessary during the weekends or on public holidays, when schoolkids throng the theme park with their parents in tow. Make sure to check the weather forecast beforehand too. Some of the rides are closed in the event inclement weather, and as such, it would be best to be prepared for it lest you end up being disappointed.
