Eugene O’Neill Theatre

It is not the name, but the place that counts.

Located at 230 West 49th Street Midtown Manhattan, is the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, named after Nobel Prize recipient, Eugene O'Neill. This theatre appears to follow the maxim "third times the charm", having originally been named the "Forrest Theatre" in 1925 after 19th-century Shakespearean actor Edwin Forrest, and then renamed the "Coronet Theatre" after refurbishing in 1945, while finally settling down to its current name in 1959. Many famous productions have graced these walls, including the likes of Grease, Death of a Salesman, and the Full Monty, just to name a few. Head on down to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre to catch a fabulous musical today!
