The Emirates Palace is fit for royalty, a place that one has always dreamt of being in.
An exquisite, 7-star hotel, the 85 hectare Emirates Palace is the epitome of splendour and lavish details. In fact, I believe a word to describe how luxurious and lavish this place is has yet to be created! A $3.9 billion-dollar project, the Emirates Palace is no doubt suited for royalty. Designed by the British architect – John Elliot, his visionary design is breathtaking.
Incorporating varying shades of golden-brown, reminiscent of the sand found in the Arabian Desert, this is merely the start. Taking a look inside, it reveals an entire kingdom, dripping in opulence where Arabic influences in architecture are heavily used. The palace incorporates Arabic influences heavily, from the 114 domes, to the intricate, geometric patterns found all around, to the domes and walls, there’s plenty influenced by the Arabs. As if that was not enough, just enter the lobby and your jaw is sure to drop. Dripping in lavish decorations such as the chandeliers, this is merely one out of the 1000 over found here, the magnificence is mind-blowing. The lobby is decked out in gold, it’s as if there is barely anything that is made of any other material. From the table, to the intricate floral designs on the floor, to even the ceiling, the lobby is breathtaking. Be sure to end your trip by heading out to the white sand beach at the back, where the pearl white sand is the perfect platform, overlooking the Persian Gulf, an equally gorgeous addition to the exquisite hotel.
