A sheltered beach with a gorgeous view of evergreen cliffs and turquoise waters.
Oddly known as Emplisi Beach on Google Maps, Emblisi Beach is an intimate beach cove set deep into the tip of the island of Kelafonia, a 40 minute walk from the harbour. The beach consists of ivory pebbles – but fret not, the beach bar rents out sunbeds along with an excellent selection of snacks and beverages.
More importantly, Emblisi Beach is a fantastic place for snorkelling – the underwater rock formations along with the shoals of fish swimming past will make you feel like a lithe mermaid. Follow along the wooded trail to your left, and you will chance upon an impressive sight of numerous towering rock cairns. With such scenic views, Emblisi Beach is where you will have a blissful beach stay.
