Elephant Falls

Expose all your senses to this majestic falls.

The Elephant Falls in Dalat, Vietnam, is sure to overload your senses once you set your sights on it. Named after a large rock that allegedly represents a elephant’s head (though many claim they do not see the semblance), the Elephant Falls is truly a waterfall that captures your imagination, with its sheer ferocity and pristine waters a sight to behold.

With a drop of more than 30m, you can see the water gushing down like a curtain of white rain. It must be said that getting here is not the easiest of journeys, as the path is known to be wet and rough, with the precarious route to the falls marked with moss-covered rocks and muddy paths. Fortunately, there is a handrail present to make your journey through this difficult terrain easier, and soon you will find yourself at the falls. The Elephant Falls is arguably best enjoyed from the base, where you can feel the rigour of the falls through the ‘tremors’ it creates. You can even sit on one of the boulders to admire it and snap some extremely stunning snapshots of the falls, though you will have to brace yourself as you will definitely get doused by the falls’ sprays. Truly engage your senses by visiting the Elephant Falls.
