Dumont Dunes

Feel the adrenaline in an RV or unwind in a tent near these gargantuan dunes

Experience the wonder of nature at the Dumont Dunes, located in California’s Mojave Desert. This area is known for its large dunes, with some being hundreds of feet high. The dunes are so rich in sand that the volume of sand results in a whopping 7 billion cubic feet! Being a great place for off-road vehicle activities, you are bound to see this region littered with Recreational Vehicles (RVs).

If the excitement of RV racing is too much for your blood pressure, this spot is great for camping. Grab your tents and matchsticks for a night in the desert, and you may be lucky enough to spot the rare native Mojave fringe-toed lizard. When night falls, kick back and enjoy the night sky sprinkled with the glittering stars.
