More than just a zoo, the Dudley Zoological Gardens is located within the grounds of Dudley Castle, making this place a historical site as well as a house to more than 1300 animals of 200 different species. Expect a wide assortment of animals inside the zoo displayed in various exhibits. Walk through the Lemur Wood exhibit to see the many species of Lemurs housed within, or see majestic birds fly over the castle walls in the daily Birds of Prey display in the courtyard. The Lion Ridge exhibit is home to three extremely rare Asiatic Lions; making it an exciting exhibit not to be missed! Access to the 11th century Dudley castle is also included together with the entrance fee, so do not forget to leave some time to explore that section while you are there!
