Dudhsagar Falls

See the Sea of Milk cascading down an impressive height of more than 1000 feet.

Straddling the borders of the Indian states of Goa and Karnataka, the 310m Dudhsagar Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls renowned in India. Nestled snugly right in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, with its lush green forest and glistening streams, the Dudhsagar Falls is a mesmerising sight to behold, especially after the monsoon season which is also the safest time to visit. Witness the waterfall in its most glorious form after a heavy rainfall as huge volumes of water, resembling milk, rushes down the brilliant moss-green covered rocks into the Mandovi River. A photographer’s paradise, nature lovers will delight in discovering the rich biodiversity of the lush surrounding forests.
