Double Dragon Bridge

An ancient stone bridge that meanders through the meeting point of two rivers.

Known as Shuanglong Bridge in Chinese, the Double Dragon Bridge is a picturesque stone arch bridge that serves as the hallmark of ancient Chinese architecture. Built during the Qing Dynasty, the Double Dragon Bridge has withstood the test of time, standing proudly as a cultural relic of the 18th century. As a gorgeous photo spot for film-like pictures, this ancient bridge boasts seventeen graceful arches that span across the vast river and elegantly arched pavilions that decorate the crossing. From the fluffy white clouds reflected in the still mirror of water, to marshy riverbank and wildflowers, to the distant blue mountain silhouettes, each snapshot grows in beauty as the sky gradually turns from azure to amber. While you amble along the bridge to admire the view, it is a must to pause and soak up the sleepy atmosphere of the countryside. If you are lucky enough, you might even catch sight of fishermen in action along the river as they reel in fish with the traditional hook and line, or a herd of goats grazing in the distant. In a blend of architecture and nature, the Double Dragon Bridge is the finishing touches to the perfect Chinese scenery.
