With rows and rows of sharp, jagged peaks stabbing the skyline, the Okshornan Peaks in Senja, also called the Devil’s Teeth by locals, is a worthwhile stop during your trip to Senja.


The Devil’s Teeth is one of the most famous geological splendours in Senja. It lies on Senja’s National Tourist Route, which runs from Gryllefjord to Botnhamn. To view the Devil’s Teeth, take the walkway in Tungenesset which leads over the rocks and gives you a clear view of the menacing peaks, pointing determinedly up at the sky then dramatically plunging down into the sea below.
