Darling Harbour is a charming waterside area offering a great number of exciting attractions as well as trendy restaurants and bars that boast scenic alfresco dining areas. Popular nearby attractions to keep the little ones entertained include the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, and the Darling Quarter Playground. To the south of the zoo and aquarium, you will find Cockle Bay, which also has its fair share of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars. Just take note that these get even more crowded during festive seasons where stunning fireworks are set alight.

If the weather forecast is rainy, then perhaps you could explore the indoor shopping and entertainment centres. In fact. you can even have a striking good time at the Kingpin Bowling Centre. Coupled with M9 Laser skirmishes, there is a wide range of activities for all - families, children and couples included! Don’t forget to check out the Australian National Museum with its intriguing collection of vessels as well. Hop on board the Boeing 737 and pilot it in the flight simulator. With so much to do, Darling Harbour will no doubt be a memorable experience.

Tips Before You Go
While there is much to do here, you might end up accomplishing very little if you visit on a weekend, as the place is packed to the brim. It would be better to visit on a weekday morning preferably, as that means that you can take your own time to walk around and take in the sights and sounds of the harbour.
