Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center

A celebration of Cuban culture.

The Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center in Little Havana is an art gallery of sorts, except you can enjoy live music and cocktails here too. Discover Cuban culture here, and join your fellow art lovers in exploring culture through art. Here you can even find works by masters of Cuban art, including pre-revolutionary works from the 1800s to 1960s. Bibliophiles, there’s an extensive library with an impressive collection here as well!

While the exhibitions are temporary, the constantly changing work, along with the vibrant mood that comes with the music and dance makes the museum unlike any other. The bar is cheekily labeled “World’s Largest Rum Collection”, with a seemingly never-ending collection of bottles right below it. You can enjoy Havana-style Charanga dances here as well, and when you leave, it will be with a better understanding of Cuba’s history and culture. Who knows, maybe you will even know a few tango moves to show off to everyone back home.
