New York City, United States of America
Columbia University

Experience the prestige of academic excellence first-hand.

Attending this Ivy League institution in Upper Manhattan is a dream that many academics yearn to achieve. Consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the world, Columbia University is reputed for its high academic standards. With the likes of female pilot Amelia Earhart and Olympic Gold medallist Trent Dimas having graced these halls, it would appear that the university is no stranger to generating successful alumni. Founded in 1754, it is the oldest tertiary educational institute in New York. However, it was not always called Columbia University. The original name was King’s College, set up by King George II of England. Interestingly, the first class conducted only had eight students in attendance. When visiting, don’t forget to check out the Roman-Classical style Low Memorial Library, in the heart of this distinguished institution.
