Fans of the popular novel and movie “The Da Vinci Code” will not want to miss out on this attraction. The Église Saint-Sulpice, one of the largest churches in Paris, was the setting for an important plot point revolving around the location of the Holy Grail. This late Baroque-style monument took quite some time to build, most of it was completed during the 17th-18th centuries, with some renovation in the 19th century. The Da Vinci Code is not the only claim to fame for this grand church. Charles Baudelaire, the famed French poet and translator of Edgar Allan Poe's work, was christened within these majestic walls.
