New York City, United States of America
Chrysler Building

A record breaker of its time.

Towering at a whopping 319m high, the Chrysler Building is one of New York's beloved skyscrapers. Located at Lexington Avenue, this Art-Deco style building was the first building over 1000 feet high to be built in New York, completed in 1930. As it is an office building, tourists are only allowed to visit the lobby of this 77-storey symbol of American capitalism. Do not be discouraged as the lobby itself is a sight to behold. With the walls made of Red Moroccan marble, the ceiling adorned with a stunning mural, and the floor a soothing shade of brown, you might forget that you are in an office building. Do avoid weekends and American public holidays as the skyscraper will be closed.
