Just off the bustle and the nightlife of Calle Florida and Avenida Córdoba is the perfect place for art lovers to visit: the Centro Cultural Borges, an endeavour by the Fundación para las Artes (Foundation for the Arts). Occupying more than 10,000m2 of space within the National Historical Monument Galerías Pacífico, the exhibition and concert venue opened its doors in October 1995. Since then, it has been hosting concerts, art exhibitions and workshops within their four auditoriums, exhibition halls and workshop spaces.

If you’re in Argentina, you really shouldn’t miss an opportunity to watch the exquisite tango performance! Bien de Tango takes place on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and is probably the most well-loved show at Centro Cultural Borges. Being a venue that aims to promote art and entertainment, tickets are much more affordable here as compared to other places in Buenos Aires. What’s more is that they also have tango classes for those who find themselves inspired by the show!
