Central Park Zoo

Relive your youthful excursions at the Central Park Zoo.

Located in the heart of Central Park, New York City, is a 6.5-acre spot that is sure to bring out the child inside of you. Established in 1864, this small but potent zoo has been spreading smiles ever since. The Central Park Zoo is home to over 130 species of animals – ranging from the adorable Red Panda to the rather intimidating Grizzly Bear. Your young ones will especially love feedings times, whereby you can watch the feeding of penguins and sea lions, and even pick the brain of the zookeeper.

The newly opened Tisch Children’s Zoo allows young ones to get up close and personal with the animals. For a quarter, a handful of food can feed the sheep, cows and even an adorable Vietnamese pot-bellied pig! Alongside that, tantalise all your senses by watching a 4D movie. After a tiring day, you are bound to be hungry, but fret not, as the Dancing Crane Café has got you covered with snacks, drinks, and even desserts!
