The perfect untouched island paradise.
If you’re looking for paradise on earth, go no further than Cemara Kecil Island. In English, the island is known as ‘Little Casuarina,’ a nod to the green Casuarina trees that cluster close to the beach. Along with the variety of birds and other wildlife they are its only inhabitants, for there is no human population on the island. This in part contributes to the pure white quality of its soft sand, and the deserted atmosphere of the whole place. You could spend an afternoon there in peace and quiet, and discover the meaning of what it means to be truly all by yourself. In addition, there are a variety of other activities that you can take part in as well—you can choose to snorkel in the near-transparent shallows, or dive a little further out in order to catch a glimpse of some truly spectacular marine life. The island itself is tiny—it barely covers 1.5 acres of land, and does not even have a proper landing dock for boats, looking like the proverbial deserted island at times. It’s the perfect place to spend some time with nature and detox from the outside world.
