Located in Lazi, the stunning Cambugahay Falls is one of the most popular and well-known attractions to visit on Siquijor Island with its clear turquoise waters and exciting Tarzan rope swings. The waterfalls are actually three-tiered cascading falls, and are a magical sight to behold against the lush green backdrop of thick foliage from the surrounding rainforest.


The falls are straightforward and easy enough to get to, via approximately 135 stone steps leading down to the falls, with bamboo rails for the young and old to support themselves. Once at the falls, the inviting turquoise green waters make it hard for visitors to resist a quick dip in its warm waters. The brave can try the Tarzan rope swings available around the falls for a small fee, and dive in spectacular display into the warm waters of the lovely Cambugahay Falls for a truly exhilarating experience.

Tips Before You Go
Visitors are advised to be careful of insistent vendors and guides at the entrance to the falls. A guide is not necessary, although visitors can still choose to get a guide if they wish to do so. Steps leading down to the falls are steep and can get slippery, visitors are advised to take caution when going down towards the falls and to wear appropriate shoes if possible.
Visitors can negotiate with locals for the fee to go on one of the several Tarzan rope swings, for a memorable experience at the beautiful Cambugahay Falls.
