The lively natural history museum of San Francisco.

Where else can you find an aquarium, rainforest and a planetarium all under one roof? Only at the California Academy of Sciences of course! Covering over 37,000 square metres, this natural history museum is amongst the largest in the world, and is also one of the newest ones in the United States. Unlike the others however, this one is absolutely bursting with life, and teeming with animals of many different species.

Visit the four-story Osher Rainforest, where butterflies and birds fly freely in the dome, amongst other species of animals. The Steinhart Aquarium on the other hand is also home to the Philippine Coral Reef and the African Penguin. Besides that, the 75-foot Morrison Planetarium also displays one of the most accurate digital universes ever. All this scientific wonder awaits at the California Academy of Sciences!
