Brussels Museum of the Gueuze

A discovery into how Brussels beer Lambic and other brewed products are made!

Housed in the Cantillon Brewery is a treasure trove of all things beer! Step into the Brussels Museum of the Gueuze for a day of discovery into how the typical Brussels beer Lambic and the other brewed products are made via traditional means. With exhibits showcasing brewing equipment from the 19th and early 20th century, you are bound to emerge from this museum as a more knowledgeable man on the Gueuze beer, the highlight of your visit.

Open the door of the 56 rue Gheude and be transported back in time. You will find yourself in a family brewery where Lambic, Faro, Kirk and Gueuze are brewed and where hardly anything has changed since the founding of the brewery in 1900. The Van Roy-Cantillon family welcomes you to discover the world of beers and brewing and you will definitely get a taste of real traditional Gueuze-Lambic. Enjoy the guided tour which will give you an in-depth explanation and feel free to ask the guide or the brewer questions you may have or if you wish, to have a sip (or maybe a few big gulps) of that delicious Kriek and Framboise!

Being the last known brewery producing Gueuze beer in Brussels, this is definitely one brewery and museum that you have to visit!
