Give your eyes a treat with the unlimited variety of plants and flowers.
Nature lovers come and experience 52 acres of plant heaven at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. One of the more popular attractions here is the family-friendly Sakura Matsuri or Cherry Blossom Festival. This annual spring festival is held to celebrate both Japanese culture and the beauty of the Cherry Blossom season. If you are unable to attend this, fear not, as the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens has many other ongoing collections. The Cranford Rose Garden is a much-loved unmissable attraction. Open since 1928; this garden houses more than 1000 types of roses from wild species to old garden roses. Complimentary entry is offered to visitors every Tuesday, or on the weekdays in Winter (December – February).
