Wolverine, Harry Potter and Forrest Gump. What do these three have in common? The men that played these much-loved characters have also graced the stage at the Broadhurst Theatre. Located at 235 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, this Broadway theatre was named after manager and playwright, George Broadhurst. Built in 1917, the theatre has been bestowed the honor of a New York City landmark, due to its importance in the staging of notable performances. The theatre has played host to Hugh Jackman in "Back on Broadway" and Daniel Radcliffe's controversial "Equus". In addition, Tom Hanks performed on Broadway for the very first time here in "Lucky Guy".
