Briksdalsbreen, or also known as the Briksdal Glacier, is one of the most popular and accessible arms of the gigantic Jostedal glacier that extends from the nearby Jostedalsbreen National Park. At its lowest, Briksdalsbreen is at 346 metres above sea level while its highest point stands at a whopping 1,950 metres above sea level.


It’s truly remarkable to see the huge glacier plunging down into the mesmerizing Briksdal valley below and ending at the beautiful Brikdalsvatnet glacial lake.
