Voted a top family attraction in the Niagara Falls and now listed under Trip Advisor’s Hall of Fame!
Bird Kingdom is an impressive aviary situated in the Niagara Falls region in Ontario, Canada. It was first founded in 2003 and remains to date the largest free flying indoor aviary throughout the world – literally like being in the middle of a jungle with rare birds flying above you! It spans over 4,200 square metres and is home to over 350 birds, most coming from Africa, South America and the Australasia regions. There are also several mammal, reptile and amphibian species which are on show for the centre’s education programmes. The aviary is split into several sectors - the small bird aviary which includes some endangered and rare species and provides visitors a cool bird watching spot overlooking the Niagara Gorge, the night jungle which houses nocturnal species like owls, the main aviary which provides self-guided tours and the Javanese House. Perfect for a day out with your family, this excursion will certainly be one to delight all ages!
