The Benaki Museum showcases a wide range of art relics with treasures from the Bronze Age to WWII.

The Benaki Museum, established by Antonis Benakis himself, holds some of the greatest collections of artwork over the ages, starting from the Bronze Age up to WWII. Some of the noteworthy exhibitions include several Byzantine icons, as well as an extensive, well-preserved collection of Greek regional costumes. The Benaki Museum has also incorporated the Museum of Islamic Arts into its collection; making it a fantastic visit, complete with a finely tuned curation that is both diverse and intriguing.


With all its collections encased within a beautiful mansion that was once the pride and joy of the Benaki family, one would also be enthralled by the stunning Neoclassical building.
