Barcelona Zoo

Animal lovers this one’s for you.

Spend the day with your human and non-human family at the Barcelona Zoo. The zoo was home to Snowflake, the only Albino gorilla in the world, who sadly died in 2003. Fret not; you can still visit interesting animals, such as the Saharian Dorcas gazelle, which is almost extinct, the Iberian wolf, a formidable predator in cold climates and the Guanaco, a wild ancestor of llama and alpaca. The zoo is especially fun for the kids, with a playground near the Cuban Flamingo exhibit for them to stretch their legs. Don't forget to check out the Penguin feeding, which happens every morning from 11am to 1.30pm!
