Bali Butterfly Park

A kaleidoscope of colour.

The butterfly is an amazing creature of nature, delicate yet strong. Amidst beautiful tropical blossoms and well-maintained greenery, visitors can’t help but be inspired watching hundreds of these colourful, stunning insects take flight and fly free, at Bali’s only butterfly park. Touted to be the largest in the world with 15 known species of butterfly indigenous to Indonesia, as well as an extensive variety of other insects and arachnids, the butterfly park is perfect for nature enthusiasts and families, especially those with small children.

A stunning living museum comprising an eclectic mix of different species, visitors gain an unprecedented opportunity to view up close a colourful array of protected, endangered specimens, including the common birdwing (Troides helena) and the Bali peacock (Papilio peranthus), and gain fascinating insight into the many stages of metamorphoses for different species in the pupa/chrysalis room located onsite the park grounds. Lucky individuals might even get the opportunity to observe an adult butterfly emerging from its cocoon – an entirely magical and unforgettable experience!
