Angelokastro, known as “Castle of Angels” in English, forms an imposing sight as a former frontier bastion and capital of Corfu. Situated at the highest point of the island’s shoreline, you are afforded with a gorgeous panoramic view of the bright blue sea bordering the verdant greenery sprawled across the land below. Although this fortified structure is in ruins, there is still much to explore in this historical castle.
