Situated alongside the beautiful southern coastline of the Bukit Peninsula, just off the Jalan Nusa Dua Selatan highway, the abandoned airplane is a mere 5-minute drive from the stunning Pandawa Beach. Locals say that the abandoned Boeing 737 was originally meant to become a restaurant, but a lack of funds from the owner led to its current state of abandonment. Today, the abandoned airplane is a unique attraction that garners attention for its mysterious origins, and is an ideal for amazing photos and selfies for that perfect Instagrammable shot.

Tips Before You Go
The abandoned airplane is obstructed from view from the highway, as such, visitors are advised to keep their eye peeled in order not to miss it.
Visitors can gain an aerial view of the abandoned airplane by climbing up on the containers that surround it, or go right up to the airplane for an even better view, although a small fee will have to be paid for the latter option as the plane is on private property.
Another abandoned Boeing 737 can be found five miles north, on the left side of Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai close to Benoa Square, right beside a Dunking Donut shop.
